On October 23, 2023, UNFPA Gabon and its implementing partner, DKT International, took delivery of around 288,000 KISS brand male condoms, carefully divided into a batch of 100 cartons, marking the start of condom Social Marketing activities in Gabon.

The condoms have been strategically pre-positioned for sale nationwide, priced at 3 condoms for 250 FCFA. This initiative is a first step towards the arrival of 2 million units by February 2024. This reinforcement will make a significant contribution to meeting national condom needs, in line with our transformative goal of "Zero unmet need". This aligns with our strategy to stimulate demand for contraceptive products and ensure full coverage of these crucial needs.
