The 2023 annual review was held with all national and civil society implementing partners. The workshop focused on the review of 2023 activities and the identification of bottlenecks in the implementation of activities. It emerged that 2023 was a special year for implementation due to the non-signature of PTAs and the organization of general elections.

The opening ceremony was co-chaired by the Director General of Prospective, Mr Ephraïm Magnaga Nganga, and the Assistant to the UNFPA Representative, Dr Patricia Keba.
The 8th Country Program aims to increase access to integrated quality Reproductive Health and Family Planning, Gender-Based Violence and Adolescent Reproductive Health services, with a view to achieving the 3 Zeros.
Looking ahead to planning for 2024, implementing partners reiterated their steadfast commitment to working alongside UNFPA to achieve the 3 transformative outcomes - zero unmet need for family planning, zero preventable maternal deaths and zero gender-based violence and harmful traditional practices.
